usual snail's pace on a YMCA stepper yesterday looking
through an Outside magazine and it had a review of this book.
I had never heard of him. Sounded hardboiled and interesting.
I think the review called it surfer noir. Gotta love it. The
same magazine had an article featuring Carl Hiaasen bemoaning
the ecological state of Florida.
