Today's New York Times features an article on BROOKLYN NOIR,
a new short story collection from Akashic Books. Contributors
include Pete Hamill, Maggie Estep (HEX), and three clerks
from the Kings County courthouse. From the article, I get the
sense that the book's emphasis is more on Brooklyn than on
noir, but as a native New Yorker I have no problem with that.
