Some of you might recall that, back in September of 2002,
when the theme was police procedurals, I posted a message
about David Hunter, a retired detextive sergeant from the
Knox County, TN, Sheriff's Office who had written a number of
very enjoyable Tennessee-set police procedurals.
I've just been informed that it's Sgt. Hunter who is the
author of "The Final Inspection," the poem I posted here last
week to commemorate National Police Memorial Day.
I'm happy to be able to give him credit.
