Oh, I won't take that away from you. I agree that M.H. is a bloodthirsty, psychopathic etc. etc., but the books are indeed great fun to read. If we were going to include political correctness as a high-water mark of literary quality, an awful lot of genre fiction would go out the window in a heartbeat. An awful lot of "straight" fiction too.
