Searching the arhives, as far as I can see, Mark Sullivan was
the first one on the list - in 1998 - who mentioned Jack
O'Connell. He did not get much support when he - repeatedly -
recommended this author. I have just finished the first 2
Quinsigamond books (Box 9 & Wireless), and I'm wondering
why mr. Sullivan didn't get more response. These books have
both 'a dark and sinister atmosphere' - very much so - and
they have through their protagonists Lenore (Box 9) and
Hannah (Wireless) a tough and colloquial way of speach. I'm
referring to mr. Doherty's definitions here - I think they're
quite approprate. But my point is - I'm really enjoying these
books. I don't often get to enjoy books like these.
