The time sweeps become more interesting in light of the later
books, which fill in gaps from before, during and after the
Long-Legged Fly periods, sometimes even skewing or
contradicting previous accounts. As for the LLF ending,
that's part what makes the rest of the books such a puzzle
and so much fun for me.
