Rather off-topic, but thanks for the link. For some reason, I
thought that Clive Barker's The Damnation Game was
shortlisted for the Booker Prize. Silly me: I confused it
with a Pat Barker novel.
Perhaps not so off-topic: Barker's Harry D'Amour character is
a private detective, though I can't recall how hard he's been
boiled...
