****************** Thanks for the recommendation, Mario. Most of the books I read come from rara-avis suggestions. I read Harrington's DARK RIDE after you mentioned it, and I loved it. And I've got NIGHT DOGS, another you recommended, waiting on me.

I've read Estelman's EVERY BRILLIANT EYE, and I liked it. I think the other I've got of his is THE GLASS HIGHWAY, but I shied from it because Bill Denton gave it a thumbs down.

I looked over my bookshelves last night and I've got a lot of good stuff waiting on me. David Peace and Russell James. Ed mentioned a Rozan book. I've got CONCOURSE. I think I bought it because the guy is the main character in it, and I'd heard that those are more hardboiled than the ones with the woman as the main character.

Thanks, miker
