Our power went out at the height of the storm and has stayed
out. Oh well, the frig needed clearing out anyway. No other
damage. A big tree did blow over about a hundred yards from
our building but, thankfully, it went over into the tennis
court. I have a thing about trees since the storm last year
that sent a big oak down to destroy both our cars.
I charged up a laptop so I can send this. It is also good
that I have one fully wired phone as all of the wireless
portable handsets are dead as can be.
Lots of good reading time though without a television to
tempt me.
