I am in Boulder Colorado for the next couple days and am wondering if there are any good bookstores in the area, either in Boulder or Denver.

Here are some suggestions. In Boulder, the mystery book store is High Crimes Mystery Bookshop, 946 Pearl Street (west end of the mall-friendly, knowledgeable staff). For collectibles, used, harder-to-find stuff, you might try the Beat Book Shop, 1713 Pearl (east end of the mall-lots of goodies) or Red Letter Secondhand Books, 1737 Pearl (down the block from the Beat Book Shop-I picked up some great looking Gold Medals at this place a while back). The Boulder Book Store at 1107 Pearl is a larger, typical book store, but not part of a chain. You can't help but come across all of these if you cruise the Pearl Street Mall. Denver, of course, has many book stores. There are the two Tattered Covers, of course, in LoDo and Cherry Creek. There also is Murder by the Book (small but well-stocked with mysteries) at 1574 S. Pearl (in Denver, not Boulder). Denver also has a good supply of used/collectibe book stores. You should scout Fahrenheit Books at 38 Broadway. In fact, the south Broadway area is good for several stores including Ichabod's (2 S. Broadway) and the Book Mall, 32 Broadway. You've only got a couple of days--that should keep you busy.
