The problem would be where to stop, Alan. Here are a few easily accessible
(i.e. in print) big name favourite authors of mine who have used amoral protagonists in many of their novels: James M. Cain, Horace McCoy, Jim Thompson, Patricia Highsmith, Elmore Leonard, Jason Starr.
