We haven't done any regional theme months for awhile. Since there are several Southwestern writers and fans on the list, since it has often been suggested that hard-boiled mysteries are a direct descendant of the western genre, and since there are a growing number of hard-boiled mysteries set in places like Texas, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, etc., how about a month devoted to Hard-Boiled Crime in the Southwest?
