Just finished CUTTER AND BONE. Excellent book. Thornburg writes some of the best dialogue I've read in a while, and he uses it to knock out some vivid characters. The plot appears to be a variation on the Prodigal Son.

Loved the Easy Rider ending. It just don't get much better. I'd rate this as a true classic.
