Not quite sure why that should be, Richard. Although they
printed abridged versions, "Cosmopolitan" bought the entire
novels, not shortened versions of them. "Soft Touch", which
is extremely highly regarded by JDM fans, first appeared in
"Cosmopolitan" as "Taint Of The Tiger."
