For those of you who lie in or near Central Illinois, the
Peoria Library is holding a week-long film noir festival next

I'll be the guest speaker for the Friday, May 2,
presentation. The program that night will be HE WALKED BY
NIGHT, THE NAKED CITY, two vintage episodes of DRAGNET, and a
Warner Bros. animated spoof of DRAGNET called "Rocket Squad"
with Daffy Duck taking the Jack Webb role, Porky Pig in the
Ben Alexander role, and Marvin the Martion as the bad
guy.
Be nice to see a few of you Rare Birds if any of you are free
and it's not that far to come.
