Thanks for pulling this together, and thanks to the original contributors as well. Sorry to be Corrector, but you'll want to note that Larry Brown is not an Australian writer. In fact, some of his work could be pegged as Southern Gothic...all the more reason for you to check him out, miker. For what it's worth, Pelecanos gave Brown's novel Fay a good review in the Washington Post a few summers back.
