Please remember that the focus of the list is hardboiled and
noir writing. Any messages sent to the list should relate to
writing somehow. Flat-out discussion of music or film noir is
off topic. It's not hard to tie things to the written word,
and that's one of the list rules, as I posted
yesterday.
The list has stayed remarkably on topic for the last six
years. Please keep it that way. Other discussions can be held
in private mail, other mailing lists, or Usenet newsgroups
like rec.arts.mystery.
