I just pulled down my copy of the Re/Search edition of the Willeford novels HIGH PRIEST OF CALIFORNIA and WILD WIVES published in 1987 and see that it included a three-act play adaptation of High Priest. I had forgotten about that play. I assume that this is the adaptation that is debuting in New York this Wednesday.
