I agree re: Kidman. That's a case where the movie and book
run neck-and-neck for best quality, IMO. I'm trying to stay
on topic, but DEAD CALM was published, iirc, 1963. I read
that Charles Williams wrote the screenplay for THE PINK
JUNGLE. Is that the flick starring James Garner. I saw it
years ago. Not great, but not bad.
