It's been a while since I dipped into
a McBain, Hunter, Marsten book, and your posting reminded me
of how good he can be. His "Second Ending" was one of the
books that made me want to become a writer, and it's easy to
be impressed by the quanity and overall quality of his
extensive body of work. I'll find copies of "GUNS" and
"DOWNTOWN" and settle in for a good read.
