In sort of a return to September's theme, police procedurals, I picked up a copy of PIGTOWN. Jim and Miker mentioned the title as one of the better of Caunitz's titles. I concur: good, taut writing. Interesting plot that mimicks then even mentions Frank Serpico. The one question I was left with: Is the NYPD corruption as pervasive as Cauntiz writes about?
