miker, I don't know it's still available, but if you're going
with one Latimer, you should make it the standalone Solomon's
Vineyard, so scandalous at the time that it was published in
the US only as the extremely expurgated Fifth Grave. It was
decades (1980s?) before it was finally available here in its
original form.
