Al: I just finished reading HOT DAM. Neil MacNeil is W. T.
Ballard, a prolific pulp writer of westerns and mysteries who
moved into the pbo world and did some entertaining books, one
of which is HOT DAM, which gives you not one but two private
eyes, Costaine and MacCall. Besides what the blurb promises,
you get the Lost Clan of Scotland, Druids, and plenty of
other stuff. Not as dark as some of the GM books, but
fun.
