Re: RARA-AVIS: Wrapping up UK month

Date: 30 Jul 2002

Thanks to Mr. Ricketts for guest-hosting a month of UK hardboiled and noir writing. There was some good discussion and it looks like a number of people read a good selection of UK writers, many of whom are little known in North America. I'm glad lots of names were mentioned, and now we all have more writers to look for when we're browsing shelves.

Call me Colin, or the Reverend Spadge Dooley, whatever. My pleasure, not that I did a lot, there a people out there who know a hell of a lot more than I do and were good enough to share it - Al has been posting like a cat out of hades. I hope someone finds something they like in UK noir HB and I am sure the authors will keep coming up, my one man quest to get Derek Raymond into every household aside. All the best, the Reverend Spadge Dooley.
