I think the idea of decades is a good one but with no regard
to publisher. Only the copyright date should matter so people
can easily find appropriate books easily without having to
worry about different editions. I think it might be better to
group all books copyright before 1940 together. Except for a
few authors it would be difficult to find books copyright
before the 1930's. If we get that far I would suggest
grouping all books copyright after 1989 also. Mark
