As long as we're on the subject of U.S. Presidential reading:

In AMBLING INTO HISTORY, NYT reporter Frank Bruni's account of covering the Bush campain trail, Bruni mentions lending Michael Connelly's THE CONCRETE BLONDE to Bush, who apparently liked it. I don't want to be the guy who turned this into a politcal conversation so I'll stop there.
