Dick, I move that we elevate the pulps to "paperettes". Two more syllables should satisfy the cluttermeisters who ruin our language.

By the way, my newspaper of reference is the Wall Street Journal, which is the best-written and edited. Ontopically, it is also the country's best journal of crime. Especially these days.

These days, everything brings us close to hardboiled and/or noir.

Somebody *has* to write _The Andersen Shreds_.
