<<Question: If espionage is suddenly back in favor, why is Donald Hamilton having such a hard time selling the latest
(and most likely last) Matt Helm novel?>>

Probably the author has outlived his own fame. I am sure he hasn't forgotten how to write. In this country, memory is very short.

By the way, a few years ago I heard a very sensible comment regarding the MWA's Grand Master awards, and it was this: what business does the MWA have bestowing such an honor on P.D. James when they haven't recognized Donald Hamilton? This strikes me as obvious neglect. I would say the same about Richard Prather. These guys are alive and their contributions are legendary.

Regards,

MrT
