I should have known that, since I'm a big fan of Abshire's. I know about the Gants novels (PI stories with supernatural overtones) that Abshire and Clair wrote, and Abshire's solo Jack Kyle PI stories. I presume from what you're saying that these other books fit neither of those categories. That would be good news to me.
