amen to that, todd. but there are so many hardboiled/ noir
writers that i haven't read at all, i'm trying to fill in
some of those gaps before i go back to authors that i've
already read.
i've never read ross thomas, estelman, goodis, ross
macdonald, woolrich, or crumley, to name a few. damn rookie,
ain't i? ;-) counting the books i got from terrill lankford
out in LA, and a recent order that just came in from amazon,
all those guys are on the shelf ready to be read.
i set a goal a couple weeks ago that the next 20 books i read
will be only new (to me) authors. ian rankin and james cain
down, horace mccoy on the ropes. 17 more after that...
damn groupie, ain't i, looking to f**k em all at least once.
