De-lurking once more : in here (France), the notion of *noir* has mutated into a general feeling which can be pretty mainstream and loose all the ususal trappings of the pure "genre". Hey, the legendary "s鲩e Noire" and its "Noire" trade pb imprint is more open to cross-genre books, something I really enjoy !
