A little while a go I picked up a nice little pile of '50's US paperbacks, including David Dodge's IT AIN'T HAY & THE RED TASSEL.Has anyone read these? Another book I picked up was William Campbell Gault's THE CANVAS COFFIN. Gault seems to have written quite a few stories about boxing, not hardboiled, but this Dell pb seems to be the goods :
"Ringside violence - And a brutal bedroom murder" blurbs the cover.
