If anybody cares to stop by and chat about noir and classic
fiction--or buy a book, which is not necessary--I will be
signing THE BIG SWITCH at Barnes & Noble in White Marsh,
just north-east of Baltimore, on Saturday Feb 23 from 2 to 4
pm.
THE BIG SWITCH has been called "Glitz Noir." The lead
character Brian Kane has been compared to Mike Hammer, Travis
McGee, and Phillip Marlowe
(Go figure). The atmosphere has been compared to Chandler's
and Stuart Kamisky's work. It's set in 1951 Hollywood.
