Not only is Cox's Lecter far more chilling than Hopkins' over the top interpretation, the guy who plays Dolarhyde is utterly terrifying. Bill Peterson and Dennis Farina are more than serviceable in their roles, and Stephen Lang does a great Freddy Lounds. There is real, piss-in-your-pants fear in his voice as he reads the Red Dragon's note into the tape recorder before...
