RARA-AVIS: New Crime TV/Movie List -- CrimeSeen

Hello, all.

I've gone back to lurk mode since Boston month ended, but I'd like to announce a new crime TV/movie list called CrimeSeen. I've found most lists focus on books *or* TV/film. CrimeSeen's goal is to discover and discuss connections between crime in TV/movies, crime fiction, and the imagination.

Here's the group description:

<< CrimeSeen explores the dramatic image of crime in television and feature films and its impact on crime fiction and the imagination--from the earliest adaptations of Hammett's MALTESE FALCON to today's crime dramas and documentaries. Among other topics, we'll discuss so-called
"cinematic" writers, what works and doesn't work onscreen, and ways film/performance may improve upon print. >>
