Glad you feel this way, Jerry. A couple times I've mentioned
to an author that I got their book used/from a friend/from
the library, etc, then thought
"oh maybe I shouldn't have said that"; but the truth is that
once I've been introduced to an author this way and
discovered I like them, I inevitably end up shelling out for
the new one in hardback ('cause I just can't wait, dammit!)
So I can test-drive writers this way w/o breaking the
bank.
