RARA-AVIS: 1st/3rd person

I'm catching up on the postings after the holiday, and I ran across the one from George about writers who mingle first- and thrid-person narration.
I know there are probably lots of examples of this, but offhand I can think of only one: Ralph Dennis does it in THE CHARLESTON KNIFE IS BACK IN TOWN. This was several years before Parker did it.
