Was that a Terrence Rafferty article, because I think I
remember reading that. Rafferty is one of those critics like
Charles Taylor who I love to read because he writes so well
but whose taste is so far from my own that I almost always
know I'll love something if he hates it, and vice versa. When
I finally read the Mallory book, I was trying to remember who
TR panned in that article because I figured I would probably
love them!
