Joe, Aside from his one series most of his books have revenge as a hidden or overt theme. Interface was a Rara Avis book of the month a while ago, and you should read his novel, Hammett. His DKA series draws on his experience as a pi. It stands for Daniel Kearny Associates which mainly does skip tracing. Most of the characters recur. The books are really pi procedurals with the fourth, 32 Cadillacs, having a lot of humor as the agency tries to retrieve that number of Cadillacs stolen by Gypsies for the inaugaration of their new king. In order they are:

Dead Skip Final Notice Gone, No Forwarding 32 Cadillacs Contract Null & Void
. Mark S will correct this if I don't have the correct order or have missed one.

We have discussed that Dan Kearny appears in Richard Stark's Plunder Squad, and he and Westlake feature an appearance of the other's characters in his 32 Cadillacs and Westlake's Drowned Hopes. Mark
