I stated with The Big Blowdown (it was the first time I'd
ever heard of him) and then moved on to King Suckerman. The
DC Quartet in chronological, but it is not necessary to read
them in order. Right As Rain is the beginning of a new
series, so there's a starting point, too. But I also think
that to read the Stefanos series, starting with A Firing
Offense and then moving on to Nick's Trip and Down By The
River... will help get the sense of the character as he dives
into alcoholism.
Here's better advice: who cares about the order? Read
anything of his you can get your hands on.
