There are three Paul Kavanagh books, but only the first
features him as a character. Triumph of Evil is about a cold
hit man who seems to have begun to thaw. The third book is
Not Comin' Home to You, loosely based on the Charlie
Starkweather/Caril Fugate spree killings (also the
inspiration for the great movie Badlands). It's okay, but the
first two are much better.
You can drop the question mark after "aka Lawrence Block?"
They were definitely written by Block and have been
republished under his name. Unfortunately, the Such Men
reprint deletes the introductions.
