I still enjoy reading Robert Parker most of the time. Someone
suggested that maybe he's getting lazy. Hard to say that
about a guy who is writing three series books nearly every
year plus the occasional, and less successful, voyage beyond
the three series. POTSHOT was fun, although the final
confrontation was too short. The new Jesse Stone book is
getting very good early reviews.
What is *not* good is the hash being made of the Spenser
books in the current stream of cable movies. They are badly
done and badly acted.
