Close, Scott: JOHNNY DOLLAR, with SUSPENSE, was among the last broadcasts on CBS Radio as a source of drama, with the last episodes of both broadcast on 9/30/62 (drama was off that network until the revival of sorts with THE CBS RADIO MYSTERY THEATER in 1973, and, eventually, THE SEARS RADIO THEATER in 1979). -----Original Message----- From: Scott Owen [mailto: scottaowen@hotmail.com] Johnny Dollar's expense account framing device was so radio specific that the show stayed on the airwaves well after virtually every other radio drama

had died or migrated to TV. I think the show may have lasted as late as 1964.
