There's a guy in Vancouver, Dennis Bolen, who writes (or
wrote) about Barry Delta, a parole officer. I think there
were two books, STUPID CRIMES and KERECKSHUNS in the early
nineties, but there may be others. From what I remember,
they're pretty hard, but laced with more than a little dark
humour.
