Appreciate the follow-ups to my posting on Lethem, Gores, and
Pelecanos.
Trying what is apparently a nonseries title by Gores, Dead
Man. Little of the jumping around of the DKA series; good
dramatic drive so far. So far the character is working out
and sleuthing more than mixing it up, but I expect that to
change. Glad to see that someone can work in a cat that is
not just for cuteness.
