I just finished CARNY KILL by Robert Edmond Alter. Quite an
enjoyable book, despite it's many similarites to Fredric
Brown's THE DEAD RINGER. I also loved SWAMP SISTER(the other
Alter title that Black Lizard re-issued.)
Are there any more Alter books out there along these lines? I
know that he wrote a great deal of children's books, but I'm
wondering if he did any other work in the "noir" vein.
