Mosley interviews Colson Whitehead in that issue. It's Whitehead's second novel, *John Henry Days*, that works on that ground. Mosley's next book is due soon featuring a new character, Fearless Jones.

It was a great article, with these two meeting in a cafe and talking about several interesting things. Whitehead's first novel was a speculative detective story called *The Intuitionist*. Not hard-boiled, but maybe a little noir. It was interesting work.
