Joe Puma first appeared as a bad guy in an Ace Double called
SHAKEDOWN (saw it on eBay today, as a matter of fact)
by
"Roney Scott." Gault later brought Puma back as a private-eye
who's a lot less sanctimonious than Brock The Rock. I think
the Puma books were published by Fawcett Crest. Puma and
Callahan appeared together in a later novel published by
Raven House.
