Ah, yes ... fondly recall April in Florida myself. Leaving in DC now there's no season for the tourists. They come at all times. There is a season for the school tours and the kids are the worse ... probably because of volume.

Some of us who have lived there and love the state believe April and November are the best months of the year, mid eighties, low humidity, empty beaches, and no waiting at any eatery in town. The tourists have headed north or are yet to arrive, the dolphins swim by in numbers, and the serious hurricanes are usually far beyond the horizon or long gone. It's a lazy easy time and hard to beat - the sort of weather and circumstances Travis and perhaps John D. would have enjoyed.
