Keeler is definitely not hardboiled. In fact, I'd say he was in a class by himself. I suggest that you choose a page at random from THE FIDDLING CRACKSMAN and read it. By the time you get to the bottom of the page, you should know whether you're going to be a Keeler fan or not.
